Luís Regalado who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Manuel Moreira when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Josue Espindola hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, C.D Luis Angel Firpo's Ismael Hidalgo got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 36th minute, Patricio Asad left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.D Luis Angel Firpo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 40 minutes into the game, C.D Luis Angel Firpo's Patricio Asad nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Delmar Mendiko made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. When the match clock showed 43 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Luís Regalado sped through C.D Luis Angel Firpo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Manuel Moreira. Luís Regalado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jorge Leiva was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute Josue Espindola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delmar Mendiko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Delmar Mendiko yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. LenSalvador CF-A.C.S's Luís Regalado got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. LenSalvador CF-A.C.S's Zeng Wei Feng was substituted for Andrés Villalobos. LenSalvador CF-A.C.S's Hasso Timm was substituted for Mario Neppi. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedro Mondragon got free with Delmar Mendiko in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 81 played minutes C.D Luis Angel Firpo got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Asad. A collision led to C.D Luis Angel Firpo getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Victorino Ribeiro hit a great ball. Manuel Moreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hasso Timm in the 86th minute of play. In the 87th match minute, C.D Luis Angel Firpo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abraham Reyes to maneuver through the defense. LenSalvador CF-A.C.S's Delmar Mendiko proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save LenSalvador CF-A.C.S from getting a goal against them. In the 96th minute of the match, Abraham Reyes got a very nice opportunity to score, but Delmar Mendiko was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. C.D Luis Angel Firpo's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
