But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ksawery Kostrzewa couldn't finish the play. Lorenzo Estevez hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 12th minute of the match Eriberto Sarracino shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Serafin Artizar showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 13 minutes, Mariano Libertad managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. City League's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mariano Libertad was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Honorio Isadore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 15 minutes into the match, City League's Ksawery Kostrzewa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Serafin Artizar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 18 minutes into the match, Roman Maraman sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Serafin Artizar threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Roman Maraman this time. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Inocencio Bihar managed to get in a good position for a shot. LASR FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Inocencio Bihar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nestor Argider breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 23 minutes, Ksawery Kostrzewa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manuel Ado hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Eriberto Sarracino was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 29th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 30 played minutes LASR FC got a freekick which was hit by Narciso Virila. 32 minutes in the game Eriberto Sarracino after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Serafin Artizar. A very good opportunity. In the 33rd minute, Rafael Gonsalvo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wilfredo Gai's shot from long distance in the 40th minute was not bad at all, but LASR FC's Serafin Artizar knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Ksawery Kostrzewa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 42ndth minute tested the skills of Serafin Artizar when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, LASR FC's Rafael Gonsalvo got a free kick in the 42nd minute. City League's Honorio Isadore got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ksawery Kostrzewa to make the kick off. In the 66th minute of the match Roman Maraman sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Serafin Artizar skillfully saved the ball. Rafael Gonsalvo hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ksawery Kostrzewa in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Serafin Artizar saved LASR FC from getting behind. After 69 played minutes LASR FC got a freekick which was hit by Luciano Unai. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inocencio Bihar in the 74th minute of play forced City League's goalkeeper Nestor Argider to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Serafin Artizar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ksawery Kostrzewa, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. 86 minutes into the match, City League's Honorio Isadore sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Serafin Artizar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Rafael Gonsalvo fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LASR FC's protests and gave Rafael Gonsalvo a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, LASR FC's Rafael Gonsalvo got a free kick in the 88th minute.
