The supporters of Tilcara AFC booed when Union de Curtidores was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clodoveo Laurgain didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcial Lorien recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 14 minutes, Camilo Bertin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Union de Curtidores's supporters crossed their fingers, but Camilo Bertin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Constantino Irrintzi got free with Fidel Etxatxu in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Union de Curtidores's Fidel Etxatxu got control of the ball when Constantino Irrintzi tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Union de Curtidores getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Octavio Rosario hit a great ball. Constantino Irrintzi's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Fidel Etxatxu firmly grabbed it by the left post. Marcial Lorien sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcial Lorien recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Camilo Bertin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pastor Cidro having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dario Ferrer to strike the kick off in the second half. If Constantino Irrintzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Union de Curtidores's Fidel Etxatxu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcial Lorien in the 55th minute of play. If Constantino Irrintzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Union de Curtidores's Jaime Gervaso got a free kick in the 73rd minute. After 82 minutes, Marcial Lorien made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. In the 90th minute Dario Ferrer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pastor Cidro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd minute Constantino Irrintzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fidel Etxatxu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcial Lorien sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the Union de Curtidores players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Tilcara AFC.
