Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Gaston Lekubegi started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a defensive mix-up in Curramalán's zone, Gaston Lekubegi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeronimo Victoro came out of the goal and Gaston Lekubegi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 8 minutes into the match, Lucio Arixo notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Remedios's Diego Eron. Diego Eron was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lucio Arixo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Diego Eron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Lucio Arixo made a precise shot to the right of Diego Eron. Remedios's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 24th minute Maximiliano Mazuste shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Eron saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adan Domenec kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Lucio Arixo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Diego Eron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Remedios's Diego Eron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucio Arixo in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd minute Gaston Lekubegi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeronimo Victoro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Astor Orland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Damaso Oihan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Curramalán's Ciro Ourente got a free kick in the 35th minute. After having played for 36 minutes, Damaso Oihan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Remedios's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damaso Oihan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaston Lekubegi in the 38th minute of play forced Curramalán's goalkeeper Jeronimo Victoro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute of the match Remedios got a corner. Curramalán's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Freddy Seguinus ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 40th match minute, Remedios was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efrain Donzel to maneuver through the defense. Diego Eron made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucio Arixo in the 43rd minute of play. Jeronimo Victoro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaston Lekubegi in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Curramalán were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lucio Arixo made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Lucio Arixo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Diego Eron, 0-3. Jeronimo Victoro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damaso Oihan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Diego Eron made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucio Arixo in the 60th minute of play. Anselmo Adrio kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Freddy Seguinus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Patricio Marquez hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. If Lucio Arixo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Curramalán defense, Gaston Lekubegi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jeronimo Victoro. The Curramalán fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jeronimo Victoro should have stopped the shot. Lucio Arixo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gaston Lekubegi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Remedios's defense didn't have a chance, in the 90th minute, when Ciro Ourente scored to the left of an out of position Diego Eron, making the score, 1-5. Diego Eron took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucio Arixo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 94 minutes into the game, Efrain Donzel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Remedios's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Curramalán the free kick. Curramalán's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
