Seating: 1703, VIP seats: 148) Elpidio Seber started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 9th minute, Ong Tioe fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Santo Beti, passed just outside the right post. Moises Eduino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santo Beti having to interfere. Victorino Cisco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elpidio Seber in the 14th minute of the match. Pedernal's Carmelo Florinio got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Ong Tioe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Santo Beti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moises Eduino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 25 played minutes NewPort F.C got a freekick which was hit by Ambrosio Maurino. Victorino Cisco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolo Iaki in the 30th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Moises Eduino took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Santo Beti to make any attempt to save it. Through an outstanding action, after 38 minutes, Santo Beti successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Guillermo Sarracino came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Pedernal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guillermo Sarracino couldn't finish the play. Santo Beti made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Ong Tioe sent off a good shot on target. Ong Tioe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santo Beti having to interfere. Victorino Cisco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolo Iaki in the 48th minute of play. Victorino Cisco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartolo Iaki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
The wind increased when Moises Eduino made the kick off in the second half. When Ni Yi came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Pedernal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ni Yi couldn't finish the play. Santo Beti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ong Tioe in the 58th minute of the match. After 59 played minutes NewPort F.C got a freekick which was hit by Mauricio Diegotxe. Pedernal's Guillermo Sarracino got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 63 minutes into the match, NewPort F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Guillermo Sarracino came free, but Santo Beti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Santo Beti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moises Eduino in the 66th minute of play. Santo Beti came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Pedernal's Ong Tioe. But to his dismay, Ong Tioe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 73 minutes into the match, Ong Tioe had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Santo Beti. NewPort F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ong Tioe was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. In the 76th minute, Ni Yi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. NewPort F.C's Santo Beti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ong Tioe in the 80th minute of play. In the 81st minute Nestor Bartoli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santo Beti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Ambrosio Maurino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emanuel Hurko hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Santo Beti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carmelo Florinio in the 86th minute of the match. If Carmelo Florinio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind NewPort F.C's goalkeeper Santo Beti, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Ong Tioe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ong Tioe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pedernal walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
