The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ernesto Walme during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Rahué booed when Vinalito FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eliseo Sotero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rahué's Humberto Nuno was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Edgard Austin in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Rahué's zone, Hermengildo Gorosti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victorio Abeijon came out of the goal and Hermengildo Gorosti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. During the 66th minute of the match Hermengildo Gorosti completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Hermengildo Gorosti a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 70th match minute, Vinalito FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnoldo Isias to maneuver through the defense. Rahué's Arturo Manny came free and shot a quick shot against goal 71 minutes in the game, fortunately Edgard Austin had problems saving as it came toward the left post. With his leg Edgard Austin managed to avoid a goal in the 74thth minute, when Rahué's Arturo Manny fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Arturo Manny sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arturo Manny got free with Edgard Austin in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Tiburcio Arlo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 84 played minutes Vinalito FC got a freekick which was hit by Arnoldo Isias. Edgard Austin was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Humberto Nuno. 94 minutes into the match, Vinalito FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tiburcio Arlo came free, but Edgard Austin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eliseo Sotero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 96 played minutes Vinalito FC got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Regis. It was beautiful to see Rahué's Humberto Nuno in action when he in the 99th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Rahué's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
