An unexpectedly hard shot by Anastasio Raymundo in the 11th minute of play forced Reñico FC's goalkeeper Fernando Shepherd to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute, Edelmiro Mercurio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jesus Berbiz hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. 23 minutes into the match, Reñico FC's goal looked a bit too open when Casimiro Quico came free, but Fernando Shepherd reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Casimiro Quico charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Casimiro Quico the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 25 played minutes DraGoneS ZafiRo got a freekick which was hit by Casimiro Quico. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Justino Lon managed to get in a good position for a shot. DraGoneS ZafiRo's supporters rose to their feet, but Justino Lon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernando Shepherd breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 29th minute, Joel Manilan had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Froilan Ilixo during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. DraGoneS ZafiRo's Gustavo Azeari was substituted for Joel Manilan. In the 31st minute, Froilan Ilixo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mauricio Dabi to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Rodolfo Illart was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Reñico FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave DraGoneS ZafiRo the free kick. Rodolfo Illart kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Fernando Shepherd showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justino Lon in the 55th minute of the match. Fernando Shepherd made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Justino Lon sent off a good shot on target. 68 minutes into the game, DraGoneS ZafiRo's Justino Lon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fernando Shepherd made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Justino Lon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fernando Shepherd stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Norberto Pes's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Anastasio Raymundo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. DraGoneS ZafiRo's Justino Lon got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 85 minutes into the match, DraGoneS ZafiRo's Norberto Pes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fernando Shepherd narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fernando Shepherd made an important save on a dangerous shot by Justino Lon in the 87th minute. When Norberto Pes came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the DraGoneS ZafiRo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Norberto Pes couldn't finish the play. Norberto Pes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Justino Lon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. DraGoneS ZafiRo played a much better game than Reñico FC and deserved their victory. The Reñico FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
