If Fabricio Bakar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabricio Bakar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Evelio Bartolome made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabricio Bakar in the 26th minute of play. Elias Veremundo took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Evelio Bartolome. Evelio Bartolome dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elias Veremundo got free with Evelio Bartolome in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Fabricio Bakar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fidel Cordaryal kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. In the 39th minute, Elias Veremundo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Damaso Etxepare was the one to do the kick off. Fidel Cordaryal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Evelio Bartolome took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elias Veremundo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
