The tension between the Lértora and the Mansupa players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rodrigo Amor kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Lértora's goalkeeper Arnoldo Casado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 38 minutes, Elias Veremundo made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Lértora's Arnoldo Casado tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 46 minutes into the match, Hermengildo Argina had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aldo Ioritz. Mansupa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hermengildo Argina was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fabricio Bakar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Elias Veremundo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Arnoldo Casado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aldo Ioritz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benicio Abastas, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute.
