The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Clodoveo Bilbo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. Providencia AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tostado AFC the free kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Igor Otsando in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gilberto Txanton saved Providencia AFC from getting behind. If Teodosio Valente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Providencia AFC's Gilberto Txanton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Otsando in the 20th minute of play. Hernan Sanson hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Gilberto Txanton made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Clodoveo Bilbo sent off a good shot on target. 38 minutes into the match, Providencia AFC's goalkeeper Gilberto Txanton had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Clodoveo Bilbo. 41 minutes into the game, Tomás Bilbo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tostado AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Providencia AFC the free kick. Tomás Bilbo hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Hector Unai stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teodosio Valente's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. Cristo Blai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Hector Unai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Igor Otsando made the kick off in the second half. Igor Otsando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Txanton having to interfere. Tomás Bilbo struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Gilberto Txanton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tostado AFC. After a defensive mix-up in Tostado AFC's zone, Cristo Blai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hector Unai came out of the goal and Cristo Blai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gilberto Txanton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clodoveo Bilbo in the 80th minute of the match. A collision led to Providencia AFC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Matias Aurken hit a great ball. Clodoveo Bilbo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Clodoveo Bilbo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Gilberto Txanton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Providencia AFC's Gilberto Txanton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Otsando in the 89th minute of play. The Providencia AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Providencia AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
