In the 14th minute, one of los osos infernales:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for los osos infernales. Niceto Lorien placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Alejo Crescencio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Higinio Veronica, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. los osos infernales's Benicio Vermudo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardino Laurentzi in the 21st minute of play. Marcelo Perutxo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejo Crescencio having to interfere. Benicio Vermudo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristo Loco in the 24th minute of the match. In the 25th minute Robustiano Urtungo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benicio Vermudo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Higinio Veronica to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Rolando Inautzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benicio Vermudo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th minute, Rolando Inautzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Ricardo Inge fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored los osos infernales's protests and gave Ricardo Inge a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 80th minute of the game. One of los osos infernales:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tepic FC:s goal. Benicio Vermudo went to the wrong direction when Niceto Lorien was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. 84 minutes into the match, los osos infernales's goalkeeper Benicio Vermudo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Robustiano Urtungo. Benicio Vermudo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristo Loco in the 90th minute of play. Conrado Liberto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejo Crescencio having to interfere. 1-3 became the score in the 98th minute when Conrado Liberto elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The los osos infernales supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Tepic FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Tepic FC.
