The Porvenir fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when Porvenir's Mauro Belo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Gustavo Guifre made an important save on a dangerous shot by Honorio Gonzo in the 11th minute. After some careless play in the real SA mesta defense, Mauro Belo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Victorino Gartzen. The real SA mesta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Victorino Gartzen should have stopped the shot. Enzo Llope charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Enzo Llope the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, real SA mesta's Enzo Llope got a free kick in the 17th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mauro Belo in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Victorino Gartzen saved real SA mesta from getting behind. If Mauro Belo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victorino Gartzen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeronimo Sedeni in the 25th minute of the match. After having played for 26 minutes, Mauro Belo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Porvenir's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mauro Belo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Urbano Pierres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mauro Belo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 0-3 became the score in the 40th minute when Ruperto Beltxe elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 45th minute of the match Felix Fagondo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Victorino Gartzen skillfully saved the ball. Honorio Gonzo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Gustavo Guifre made a huge save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amancio Lazcano made a kick off. Mauro Belo might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Victorino Gartzen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mauro Belo ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 56th match minute, real SA mesta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rogelio Ovando to maneuver through the defense. Mauro Belo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Victorino Gartzen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 59th minute, Isidoro Licerio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Victorino Gartzen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauro Belo in the 63rd minute of play. After 65 minutes of play, Porvenir's Mauro Belo made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Victorino Gartzen was left in no man's land by his defense there! 71 minutes into the match, real SA mesta's goal looked a bit too open when Mauro Belo came free, but Victorino Gartzen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in real SA mesta's zone, Urbano Pierres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victorino Gartzen came out of the goal and Urbano Pierres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Porvenir's Mauro Belo in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye real SA mesta's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in real SA mesta's zone, Urbano Pierres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victorino Gartzen came out of the goal and Urbano Pierres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 85 minutes of play, Porvenir's Urbano Pierres made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Victorino Gartzen was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 94th minute Honorio Gonzo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Guifre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isidoro Licerio kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match.
