Carrizal AFC's Isidro Libertad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafin Columbo in the 14th minute of play. Gavino Macerio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isidro Libertad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingos Giraldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Carrizal AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Domingos Giraldo came free, but Isidro Libertad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Clausurada's zone, Ignacio Vergaray stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnulfo Gabino came out of the goal and Ignacio Vergaray tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Domingos Giraldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isidro Libertad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domingos Giraldo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Laureano Tiniebra hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. If Ignacio Vergaray had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ignacio Vergaray got free with Arnulfo Gabino in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gavino Macerio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Isidro Libertad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingos Giraldo in the 51st minute of the match. If Gavino Macerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Clausurada getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Aldo Dodorol hit a great ball. In the 59th minute, Ignacio Vergaray left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Carrizal AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 69th minute Domingos Giraldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidro Libertad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnulfo Gabino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gavino Macerio in the 74th minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Gavino Macerio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arnulfo Gabino was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Justo Gaspard kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Domingos Giraldo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Isidro Libertad came out and tried to block the shot, but Domingos Giraldo slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 86th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Carrizal AFC had won after a very even match.
