Cieneguita's Rafael Txindoki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damaso Oihenarte in the 8th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Anacleto Martinez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 22 played minutes Cieneguita got a freekick which was hit by Diego Lorencio. 28 minutes into the game, Flavio Senen recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Enzo Suero. Flavio Senen showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After having played for 33 minutes, Anacleto Martinez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Punco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anacleto Martinez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anacleto Martinez in the 34th minute of play forced Cieneguita's goalkeeper Rafael Txindoki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damaso Oihenarte in the 41st minute of play forced Cieneguita's goalkeeper Rafael Txindoki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baldomiro Bertol charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Baldomiro Bertol the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 46th minute, Flavio Senen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Damaso Oihenarte to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Efrain Sotil during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Cieneguita getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Efrain Sotil hit a great ball. Diego Lorencio's late challenge caught a Punco's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Diego Lorencio helped the player get up and apologised. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Flavio Senen in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Enzo Suero saved Punco from getting behind. In the 64th minute, Gabriel Galsino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 65 minutes into the game, Cieneguita's Flavio Senen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Enzo Suero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Rafael Txindoki made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Anacleto Martinez sent off a good shot on target. If Anacleto Martinez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cieneguita's Efrain Sotil got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Cieneguita getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Efrain Sotil hit a great ball. Damaso Oihenarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Rafael Txindoki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Anacleto Martinez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Flavio Senen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Enzo Suero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Punco's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
