After a defensive mix-up in Zavalía AFC's zone, Tomás Vimaro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Moises Gerazan came out of the goal and Tomás Vimaro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Geronimo Estavan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Pablo Oskarbi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Pablo Oskarbi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geronimo Estavan in the 24th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Sorocayense AFC's Maximiliano Beltza got a free kick in the 25th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Zavalía AFC's Cosme Argina sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pablo Oskarbi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tomás Vimaro struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Moises Gerazan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sorocayense AFC. Sorocayense AFC's Pablo Oskarbi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Sorocayense AFC from getting a goal against them. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Felix Dayam made a kick off. Pablo Oskarbi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geronimo Estavan in the 53rd minute of the match. Cosme Argina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 59 minutes into the match, Sorocayense AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Cosme Argina came free, but Pablo Oskarbi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pablo Oskarbi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geronimo Estavan in the 60th minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Cosme Argina made a precise shot to the right of Pablo Oskarbi. Sorocayense AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 67th minute, Geronimo Estavan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 68 played minutes Sorocayense AFC got a freekick which was hit by Silvestre Jaunti. Zavalía AFC's Cosme Argina got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After recieving a nice pass, Sorocayense AFC's Gogo Lucado tried to score from far away in the 73rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The supporters of Sorocayense AFC booed when Zavalía AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dalmacio Macerio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felix Dayam's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 87thth minute, Moises Gerazan skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal.
