Carlos Mogel hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After 28 minutes, Anselmo Endura mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nacate and the Relampagos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Nacate's zone, Candido Unai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nunez Iliana came out of the goal and Candido Unai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 31st minute Lucio Bartolome shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nunez Iliana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Candido Unai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nunez Iliana having to interfere. When Candido Unai came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Relampagos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Candido Unai couldn't finish the play. Nunez Iliana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Candido Unai in the 37th minute of the match. Candido Unai's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 39thth minute, Nunez Iliana skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 40 minutes into the match, Elvio Xabel dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nunez Iliana, 1-2. Hipolito Pello kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hipolito Pello stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Nacate defense, Candido Unai kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nunez Iliana. The Nacate fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nunez Iliana should have stopped the shot. Nacate's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Relampagos FC the free kick. In the 75th match minute, Nacate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcos Ekialde to maneuver through the defense. Nunez Iliana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Candido Unai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
