With a couple of smart ball manuevers David Odol in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ernesto Javiero saved Rayos Saltillo F.C. from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Rayos Saltillo F.C.'s Victoriano Lluc got a free kick in the 27th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Rayos Saltillo F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Austin came free, but Ernesto Javiero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alejo Lugo was a little too slow when Marcial Neron got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 1-0. Alejo Lugo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcial Neron in the 46th minute of the match.

When Edgardo Mendiko came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Rayos Saltillo F.C. fans jumped to their feet. Alejo Lugo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgardo Mendiko, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. After 95 played minutes Rayos Saltillo F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Nunez Peyo. Rayos Saltillo F.C. were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
