In the 23rd match minute, Patos Silvestres FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Bordat to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Cayetano Xabat managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rio Grande Football Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Cayetano Xabat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Natalio Cedro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Patos Silvestres FC's Uriel Frantzes got a free kick in the 33rd minute. If Jeronimo Seber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jaime Rafel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Herminio Chorache made a huge save. After the first half Rio Grande Football Club were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Samuel McLiam made the kick off in the second half. Rio Grande Football Club's Herminio Chorache played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Rafel in the 57th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Samuel McLiam managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rio Grande Football Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Samuel McLiam was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Natalio Cedro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cayetano Xabat received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Natalio Cedro came out and tried to block the shot, but Cayetano Xabat slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 71st minute. After 76 played minutes Patos Silvestres FC got a freekick which was hit by Froilan Etxatxu. In the 77th minute, Ignacio Bento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Natalio Cedro made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Samuel McLiam sent off a good shot on target. In the 89th minute, Cayetano Xabat got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Patos Silvestres FC's Natalio Cedro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuel McLiam in the 91st minute of play.
