When Jimeno Iyan came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Cerrillos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jimeno Iyan couldn't finish the play. In the 8th minute, Sal De la Cruz made a precise shot to the right of Teodoro Lander. Lynch's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sal De la Cruz in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teodoro Lander prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Cerrillos fans' excitement grew in the 14th match minute when Cerrillos's Sal De la Cruz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Sal De la Cruz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cerrillos's supporters rose to their feet, but Sal De la Cruz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teodoro Lander breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Lynch getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Erasmo Reno hit a great ball. 37 minutes into the game, Ulises Criston cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Teodoro Lander was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ulises Criston fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodoro Lander having to interfere. Cerrillos's German Osorio got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sal De la Cruz to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Lynch's goal looked a bit too open when Sal De la Cruz came free, but Teodoro Lander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ciro Tauro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Lynch's Erasmo Reno got a free kick in the 67th minute. Jimeno Iyan scored 0-7 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Teodoro Lander, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Teodoro Lander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sal De la Cruz, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Lynch's Teodoro Lander tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 96thth minute of the game Sal De la Cruz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lynch's Teodoro Lander was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the final whistle sounded Cerrillos left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Lynch.
