After 16 minutes, Clodoveo Urki mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Esquel and the Bernasconi AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Clodoveo Urki kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After having played for 17 minutes, Cristian Roldanillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bernasconi AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Roldanillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 20th minute, Jacinto Constancio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ismael Benvide was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Ismael Benvide stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nereo Salvino's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. If Fausto Garin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 32 minutes into the match, Bernasconi AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Nereo Salvino came free, but Ismael Benvide reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anastasio Madaleno kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 35thth minute of the game Nereo Salvino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bernasconi AFC's Ismael Benvide was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Bernasconi AFC's zone, Jacinto Constancio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ismael Benvide came out of the goal and Jacinto Constancio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ismael Benvide showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nereo Salvino in the 38th minute of the match. Lucas Tino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fausto Garin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind Esquel's goalkeeper Lucas Tino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Nereo Salvino made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Nereo Salvino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 58th minute Jacinto Constancio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Benvide saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Esquel's Lucas Tino got control of the ball when Fausto Garin tried to sneak it across the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, Esquel's goalkeeper Lucas Tino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fausto Garin. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Nereo Salvino put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ismael Benvide. If Nereo Salvino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute.
