An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Cordera in the 3rd minute of play forced obitos team's goalkeeper Timoteo Rutenio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Zentena's Modesto Quintun in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Luis Bertin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apolo Hustaz having to interfere. Luis Machado charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luis Machado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Luis Machado hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute, Agustin Domenec sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Zentena's Apolo Hustaz didn't even have to move. Modesto Quintun scored 0-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Timoteo Rutenio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Modesto Quintun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Timoteo Rutenio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Federico Palban fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apolo Hustaz having to interfere. Federico Palban hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Zentena's Modesto Quintun got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Zentena getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Zeledon Xabat hit a great ball. Fabian Cordera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in obitos team's zone, Modesto Quintun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Timoteo Rutenio came out of the goal and Modesto Quintun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vladimiro Monte kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Zentena's zone, Agustin Domenec stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Apolo Hustaz came out of the goal and Agustin Domenec tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 48 played minutes Zentena got a freekick which was hit by Igor Chus. Apolo Hustaz was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 49th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Agustin Domenec. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Modesto Quintun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zentena's supporters rose to their feet, but Modesto Quintun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Timoteo Rutenio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 70 minutes into the game, Fabian Berart cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Apolo Hustaz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Federico Palban struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Apolo Hustaz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for obitos team. When Modesto Quintun came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Zentena fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Modesto Quintun couldn't finish the play. Timoteo Rutenio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Modesto Quintun in the 84th minute of play. Fabian Cordera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Timoteo Rutenio having to interfere. If Zeledon Xabat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
