Astor Felo started the match with the kick off. The supporters of obitos team booed when Gowlan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Honorato Amor didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Gowlan getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Jacobo Francis hit a great ball. If Miguel Artal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 21 minutes into the match, obitos team's goal looked a bit too open when Humberto Tiniebra came free, but Timoteo Rutenio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 22 minutes, Ezequiel Lizer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the obitos team and the Gowlan players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 23 played minutes obitos team got a freekick which was hit by Ezequiel Lizer. In the 25th minute, Luis Bertin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Miguel Artal struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Timoteo Rutenio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gowlan. Gowlan's Miguel Artal got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 30 minutes, Fabian Berart mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the obitos team and the Gowlan players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fabian Berart kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Gowlan's Honorato Amor got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 33rd match minute, obitos team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Ugaitz to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in obitos team's zone, Miguel Artal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Timoteo Rutenio came out of the goal and Miguel Artal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jacinto Aimar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. obitos team's Timoteo Rutenio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Tiniebra in the 37th minute of play. In the 43rd match minute, obitos team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Federico Palban to maneuver through the defense. Honorato Amor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. obitos team's Timoteo Rutenio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Astor Felo in the 47th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Federico Palban made the kick off in the second half. Humberto Tiniebra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Timoteo Rutenio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Astor Felo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gowlan's supporters rose to their feet, but Astor Felo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Timoteo Rutenio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 56th minute, Gowlan's Astor Felo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. Miguel Artal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Timoteo Rutenio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. If Astor Felo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Timoteo Rutenio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Miguel Artal in the 64th minute. When Honorato Amor came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Gowlan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Honorato Amor couldn't finish the play. Astor Felo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, obitos team's Timoteo Rutenio got control of the ball when Uriel Berto tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Honorato Amor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gowlan played a much better game than obitos team and deserved their victory. The obitos team players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
