Spectators: 6683 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1683, VIP seats: 0) Anastasio Paz started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4thth minute of the game Gervasio Ermengol who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hume AFC's Zeledon Gregory was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zeledon Gregory showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gervasio Ermengol, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. If Lino Eron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gervasio Ermengol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Primitivo Neto during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Polledo booed when Hume AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Neto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arturo Cloyo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cayetano Errando in the 26th minute. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Hume AFC's Lino Eron in the 29th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Arturo Cloyo was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Polledo through an amazing save. After a rather tough play, Polledo's Igor Lopez got a free kick in the 32nd minute. After recieving a nice pass, Hume AFC's Domingo Pasqual tried to score from far away in the 32nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 35 minutes into the match, Polledo's Gervasio Ermengol sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zeledon Gregory narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Lino Eron came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Hume AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lino Eron couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Lino Eron's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arturo Cloyo was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. In the 48th minute Anastasio Paz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeledon Gregory saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lino Eron was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lino Eron in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arturo Cloyo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Anastasio Paz came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Polledo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anastasio Paz couldn't finish the play. Hume AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
