After a defensive mix-up in Cruz Azul AFC's zone, Godofredo Guipuzkoa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Virgilio Baraquiel came out of the goal and Godofredo Guipuzkoa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carlos Frasco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saverio Giro in the 34th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Valentin Iratzeder took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Carlos Frasco to make any attempt to save it. Saverio Giro took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlos Frasco. Carlos Frasco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Godofredo Guipuzkoa made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saverio Giro in the 58th minute of play forced Pachango FC's goalkeeper Carlos Frasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Frasco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saverio Giro, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. When Rodolfo Raulo fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cruz Azul AFC's protests and gave Rodolfo Raulo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Pachango FC booed when Cruz Azul AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodolfo Raulo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Virgilio Baraquiel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruperto Esiquio in the 63rd minute of play. Guaberto Claus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Virgilio Baraquiel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Cruz Azul AFC's Virgilio Baraquiel got control of the ball when Aurelio Elivareo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Justino Dolfo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Justino Dolfo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-3 in the 80th playminute. 87 minutes into the match, Cruz Azul AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Hernan Tiniebra came free, but Virgilio Baraquiel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Virgilio Baraquiel came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Pachango FC's Virgilio Vergaray. But to his dismay, Virgilio Vergaray quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-4. When Bonifacio Urritz came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Pachango FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bonifacio Urritz couldn't finish the play. Bonifacio Urritz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Virgilio Baraquiel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Pachango FC booed when Cruz Azul AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roman Tab didn't get a good kick on the ball.
