Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Alejandro Firmin took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Hipolito Chaime dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ovidio Garci, 1-0. When Flavio Belo came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Obanta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Flavio Belo couldn't finish the play. With his leg Ovidio Garci managed to avoid a goal in the 10thth minute, when Obanta's Hipolito Chaime fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Flavio Belo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidio Garci having to interfere. Ovidio Garci made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hipolito Chaime in the 14th minute. In the 20th minute, Amado Ramone got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Obanta's Enrique Marin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciriaco Jon in the 22nd minute of play. Obanta's Amado Ramone suffered a sprained foot after 25 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Fabricio Urti fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Funes's protests and gave Fabricio Urti a yellow card for diving instead. Obanta made a substitution. Agustin Orlo replaced Amado Ramone. After a rather tough play, Funes's Fabricio Urti got a free kick in the 26th minute. If Hipolito Chaime had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th minute Hermengildo Illart shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidio Garci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 39 played minutes Obanta got a freekick which was hit by Ramon Hegoi. After recieving a nice pass, Funes's Aldo Gilesindo tried to score from far away in the 40th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 42 minutes into the game, Hipolito Chaime recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ovidio Garci. Hipolito Chaime showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. 45 minutes into the match, Obanta's Hipolito Chaime sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ovidio Garci narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 46th minute, one of Funes:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Funes. The referee gave Obanta a penalty, 47 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Hipolito Chaime, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Funes's Ovidio Garci. 4-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hipolito Chaime stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Flavio Belo scored 5-1 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ovidio Garci, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 64 minutes into the match, Obanta's goal looked a bit too open when Alejandro Firmin came free, but Enrique Marin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Hipolito Chaime had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Agustin Orlo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ovidio Garci took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustin Orlo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 74 minutes, Enrique Marin successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a little luck, Obanta's Enrique Marin got control of the ball when Ciriaco Jon tried to sneak it across the goal line. Agustin Orlo struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Ovidio Garci didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Obanta. Hipolito Chaime sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 87 minutes into the game, Obanta's Hipolito Chaime nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ovidio Garci made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. With a little luck, Obanta's Enrique Marin got control of the ball when Ciriaco Jon tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Obanta's Agustin Orlo got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Flavio Belo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Obanta had played much better football throughout.
