The crowd rose to their feet as Leviatanes de Guadalajara's Lucas Gutmann slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ismael Nofre. That made the score 1-0 after 6 minutes of play. When Lucas Gutmann came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Leviatanes de Guadalajara fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucas Gutmann couldn't finish the play. After 26 played minutes Leviatanes de Guadalajara got a freekick which was hit by Jim Beam. Octavio Mouricio charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Octavio Mouricio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 44 played minutes Coatza FC got a freekick which was hit by Octavio Mouricio. Lucas Gutmann struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Ismael Nofre didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leviatanes de Guadalajara. Ismael Nofre made an important save on a dangerous shot by Enrique Ostots in the 48th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Øivind Sæter kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Ismael Nofre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Gutmann in the 63rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Aureliano Errapel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Simon Xabat was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Aureliano Errapel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Xabat having to interfere. When Raul Nisio fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Coatza FC's protests and gave Raul Nisio a yellow card for diving instead. Raul Nisio kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. If Enrique Ostots had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
