Alpachiri AFC's Cesar Baudelio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Honorato Librado in the 3rd minute of play. In the 4th minute, Alpachiri AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Siro Goiz fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Honorato Librado received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cesar Baudelio came out and tried to block the shot, but Honorato Librado slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 6th minute. In the 11th match minute, Alpachiri AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo Lorencio to maneuver through the defense. Honorato Librado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesar Baudelio having to interfere. Siro Goiz might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cesar Baudelio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Siro Goiz ran back to his position shaking his head. Cesar Baudelio made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Siro Goiz sent off a good shot on target. Luyaba were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after Alpachiri AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ambrosio Montrelle took the corner. Luyaba's Ambrosio Montrelle was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cesar Baudelio in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Adrian Karlo might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Venancio Joachim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adrian Karlo ran back to his position shaking his head. Adrian Karlo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luyaba's Venancio Joachim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeledon Tono in the 41st minute of play. If Honorato Librado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 47 minutes of play Alpachiri AFC's Rodrigo Lorencio was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Alpachiri AFC getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Rodrigo Lorencio hit a great ball. Ambrosio Montrelle was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 49th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adrian Karlo to make the kick off. Siro Goiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesar Baudelio having to interfere. Adrian Karlo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Venancio Joachim having to make a save. In the 61st minute, Honorato Librado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 64 minutes into the match, Luyaba's goalkeeper Venancio Joachim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adrian Karlo. After having played for 69 minutes, Siro Goiz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Luyaba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Siro Goiz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Alpachiri AFC's zone, Honorato Librado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cesar Baudelio came out of the goal and Honorato Librado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Honorato Librado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Luyaba's supporters rose to their feet, but Honorato Librado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cesar Baudelio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Luyaba booed when Alpachiri AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zeledon Tono didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cesar Baudelio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Siro Goiz in the 81st minute of the match. When Adrian Karlo came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Alpachiri AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adrian Karlo couldn't finish the play. 85 minutes into the match, Alpachiri AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Siro Goiz came free, but Cesar Baudelio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Honorato Librado struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Cesar Baudelio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Luyaba. Cesar Baudelio came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Luyaba's Siro Goiz. But to his dismay, Siro Goiz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Adrian Karlo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Venancio Joachim having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Luyaba had won after a very even match.
