Urusmayo AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Federico Serapio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Ciriaco Mattin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Federico Serapio, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Cayetano Indalecio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guillermo Jorrin in the 14th minute of play. After 15 minutes, Apolo Raymundo made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Cabildo's Cayetano Indalecio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 27th match minute, Urusmayo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucio Cristos to maneuver through the defense. Apolo Raymundo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Apolo Raymundo got free with Cayetano Indalecio in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

If Apolo Raymundo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Guillermo Jorrin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cayetano Indalecio having to interfere. In the 59th minute, Apolo Raymundo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Urusmayo AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Apolo Raymundo might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cayetano Indalecio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Apolo Raymundo ran back to his position shaking his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 70 minutes into the match, Cabildo's goal looked a bit too open when Ambrosio Oidor came free, but Cayetano Indalecio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Apolo Raymundo in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cayetano Indalecio saved Cabildo from getting behind. Apolo Raymundo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
