A collision led to Rigby FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Sebastian Jesco hit a great ball. Colazo FC's Ladislao Lidon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donato Lixandro in the 12th minute of play. When Iker Quico came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Colazo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iker Quico couldn't finish the play. In the 17th minute, Colazo FC's Narciso Theobald ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Romulo Cresenciano. Romulo Cresenciano yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Paulino Harkaitz charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paulino Harkaitz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Rigby FC booed when Colazo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulino Harkaitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Javier Amato came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Rigby FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Javier Amato couldn't finish the play. After 28 played minutes Colazo FC got a freekick which was hit by Nicasio Dominguez. After 29 minutes of play, Rigby FC's Donato Lixandro made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ladislao Lidon was left in no man's land by his defense there! Javier Amato fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ladislao Lidon having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 35th minute of the game. One of Colazo FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Rigby FC:s goal. Donato Lixandro struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Ladislao Lidon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rigby FC. Ladislao Lidon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Javier Amato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Rigby FC's Jaime Teofilio got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Javier Amato fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ladislao Lidon having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Javier Amato to make the kick off. The supporters of Rigby FC booed when Colazo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicasio Dominguez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Genaro Jacob recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Javier Amato did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-2 to the left of a surprised Ladislao Lidon 57 minutes into the match. After 60 played minutes Javier Amato could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 1-3 into the left cross. Donato Lixandro in the 64thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ladislao Lidon, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Javier Amato took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Ladislao Lidon to make any attempt to save it. Donato Lixandro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iker Quico recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rigby FC's Genaro Jacob got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Javier Amato put it in 1-5 from a short distance just to the right of Ladislao Lidon. Donato Lixandro's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ladislao Lidon firmly grabbed it by the left post. Ladislao Lidon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Javier Amato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
