Leonardo Cristofor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Conrado Cebrian read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. In the 5th minute Leonardo Cristofor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conrado Cebrian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Conrado Cebrian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Cristofor in the 7th minute of the match. Fabian Vela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julio Adrio in the 9th minute of play. Fabian Vela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julio Adrio, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Julio Adrio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Vela having to interfere. When Isidro Bastian came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the diablos azules fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isidro Bastian couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Godofredo Kiliz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Potrerillo's supporters rose to their feet, but Godofredo Kiliz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Conrado Cebrian breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Elpidio Pacifico kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Leonardo Cristofor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zeledon Furtado kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Conrado Cebrian acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 24th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Saverio Afonso. 26 minutes into the match, diablos azules's goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Cristofor came free, but Conrado Cebrian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cosme Gorri charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cosme Gorri the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Potrerillo booed when diablos azules was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cosme Gorri didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, diablos azules's Conrado Cebrian got control of the ball when Godofredo Kiliz tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Leonardo Cristofor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th minute Julio Adrio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Vela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Adrio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Fabian Vela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Godofredo Kiliz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conrado Cebrian having to interfere. 46 minutes into the game, Victoriano Pere was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. diablos azules's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Potrerillo the free kick. In the 46th minute, Victoriano Pere hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Potrerillo's Godofredo Kiliz got a good chance for a goal in the 49th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Julio Adrio to make the kick off. After 57 played minutes Potrerillo got a freekick which was hit by Carmelo Sesuldo. After recieving a nice pass, diablos azules's Amadeo Burutzagi tried to score from far away in the 58th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Godofredo Kiliz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Potrerillo's supporters rose to their feet, but Godofredo Kiliz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Conrado Cebrian breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Isidro Bastian's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 65thth minute, Fabian Vela skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 70th minute, Leonardo Cristofor made a precise shot to the right of Conrado Cebrian. diablos azules's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. When the match clock showed 73 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Leonardo Cristofor sped through diablos azules's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Conrado Cebrian. Julio Adrio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabian Vela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julio Adrio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isidro Bastian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
