Seating: 1694, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Mateo Domiku got the match started through his kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Macha's zone, Cipriano Su stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eusebio Lope came out of the goal and Cipriano Su tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bartolo Camerino during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Macha's Bartolo Camerino got a free kick in the 8th minute. If Cipriano Su had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 11 minutes into the match, Macha's goalkeeper Eusebio Lope had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fausto Cordarin. An unexpected shot in the 13th minute by Fausto Cordarin got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomás Tabb in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Javier Erroman saved Cereales from getting behind. Mateo Domiku recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Javier Erroman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mateo Domiku in the 18th minute of the match. Tomás Tabb sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 26 minutes into the game, Mateo Domiku cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Javier Erroman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Mateo Domiku had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eusebio Lope showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cipriano Su in the 34th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Macha's Generoso Herena got a free kick in the 35th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Mateo Domiku managed to get in a good position for a shot. Macha's supporters rose to their feet, but Mateo Domiku was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Javier Erroman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 44th minute Tomás Tabb shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javier Erroman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47th match minute, Cereales was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolando Lano to maneuver through the defense. Javier Erroman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateo Domiku in the 48th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The wind increased when Cipriano Su made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Macha's Amancio Videl got a free kick in the 54th minute. Ulises Atarratze, 55 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Cipriano Su had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 61 minutes into the game, Carlos Raulo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cereales's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Macha the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 69th minute of the game. One of Cereales:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Macha:s goal. The goalkeeper, Javier Erroman, was totally fooled by Macha's Amancio Videl, who 71 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After having played for 75 minutes, Cipriano Su managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cereales's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cipriano Su was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After having played for 82 minutes, Mateo Domiku managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mariano Mikeldi's late challenge caught a Macha's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mariano Mikeldi helped the player get up and apologised. After 85 played minutes Cereales got a freekick which was hit by Mariano Mikeldi. Paulo Baldovino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusebio Lope having to interfere. Fausto Cordarin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Rolando Lano came up free with the goalie in the 101st minute, the Cereales fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rolando Lano couldn't finish the play. The Cereales supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Macha's performance. The match ended with a win for Macha.
