Seating: 1672, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ceferino Cefero took the kick off in the first half of the match. Antonio Austin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ceferino Cefero in the 4th minute of the match. Hernan Silban charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hernan Silban the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 13 played minutes Toldos got a freekick which was hit by Hernan Silban. Prudencio Otsando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serafino Leoiar, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Toldos's goal looked a bit too open when Serafino Leoiar came free, but Prudencio Otsando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Serafino Leoiar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Panacán's supporters rose to their feet, but Serafino Leoiar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Prudencio Otsando breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Guaberto Rioja kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Prudencio Otsando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Bikendi in the 27th minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Serafino Leoiar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Prudencio Otsando was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 31 minutes into the match, Jorge Bikendi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Prudencio Otsando. Toldos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jorge Bikendi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 35 minutes into the match, Panacán's goal looked a bit too open when Ceferino Cefero came free, but Antonio Austin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes into the game, Toldos's Guaberto Rioja nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Antonio Austin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Toldos's Claudio Lehior got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Ceferino Cefero came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Toldos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ceferino Cefero couldn't finish the play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Serafino Leoiar was the one to do the kick off. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Serafino Leoiar put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Prudencio Otsando. Saturnino Buinton was extremely unlucky when he, in the 58th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Panacán's goalkeeper Antonio Austin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Candido Diaz hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute of the match Laureano Ignado shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Antonio Austin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Toldos's zone, Jorge Bikendi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Prudencio Otsando came out of the goal and Jorge Bikendi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 83 minutes into the match, Toldos's goal looked a bit too open when Serafino Leoiar came free, but Prudencio Otsando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jorge Bikendi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Serafino Leoiar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prudencio Otsando having to interfere. Prudencio Otsando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serafino Leoiar in the 98th minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Panacán eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
