Anastasio Bonifaco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Godofredo Jaunzuria in the 11th minute of the match. Luján's Eustaquio Llorian managed to work through Morillo's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Eustaquio Llorian dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Cipriano Eleder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eustaquio Llorian in the 16th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Maximino Enekoitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 21 played minutes Luján got a freekick which was hit by Israel Pello. Emanuel Olo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Cipriano Eleder made a huge save. Isidro Ralondo kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. 39 minutes into the game, Casimiro Celio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Morillo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Luján the free kick. Casimiro Celio hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After having played for 44 minutes, Emanuel Olo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Luján's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emanuel Olo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Godofredo Jaunzuria to make the kick off. Eustaquio Llorian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cipriano Eleder stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eustaquio Llorian's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. If Emanuel Olo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 64 played minutes, Luján's Arnulfo Normando shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cipriano Eleder came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Luján reached it. Benito Mikolas charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benito Mikolas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Morillo booed when Luján was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benito Mikolas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Godofredo Jaunzuria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th match minute, Luján was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benito Mikolas to maneuver through the defense. Salvador Oriche recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anastasio Bonifaco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Salvador Oriche in the 94th minute. Luján's Anastasio Bonifaco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Luján from getting a goal against them.
