With a left leg Marco Maria saved Feltón from getting behind. If Eleuterio Cilio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 75 minutes into the match, Jacobo Ferrando had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marco Maria. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacobo Ferrando couldn't finish the play. Jacobo Ferrando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emiliano Mendebal during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 97th minute Jacobo Ferrando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Maria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cuñapirú walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
