Pilar AFC's Robustiano Bernad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Placido Pudes in the 4th minute of play. Amador Sazon made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Nestor Urtzi sent off a good shot on target. Robustiano Bernad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fermin Geleberto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nestor Urtzi got free with Amador Sazon in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nestor Urtzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 35 minutes, Gavino Galo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pilar AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gavino Galo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nestor Urtzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Amador Sazon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nestor Urtzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amador Sazon having to interfere. After some careless play in the Domínguez AFC defense, Nestor Urtzi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amador Sazon. The Domínguez AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amador Sazon should have stopped the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Fermin Geleberto made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Lucio Urre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pilar AFC's Sebastian Paublo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 54th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Domínguez AFC. Alonzo Tonete's late challenge caught a Pilar AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alonzo Tonete helped the player get up and apologised. 60 minutes into the match, Gavino Galo notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Domínguez AFC's Amador Sazon. Amador Sazon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pilar AFC's Nestor Urtzi got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amador Sazon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nestor Urtzi in the 67th minute of play. When the match clock showed 69 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Nestor Urtzi sped through Domínguez AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Amador Sazon. Amancio Montrell charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amancio Montrell the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Amancio Montrell kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Domínguez AFC's Placido Pudes got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 76 played minutes Pilar AFC got a freekick which was hit by Angel Gervaso. 79 minutes into the game, Placido Pudes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Robustiano Bernad was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Placido Pudes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Robustiano Bernad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Robustiano Bernad was a little too slow when Fermin Geleberto got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 86th minute. The score was now 3-2. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Pilar AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Domínguez AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
