When Daniel Baumer fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Welwyn Eagles FC's protests and gave Daniel Baumer a yellow card for diving instead. After 4 played minutes Welwyn Eagles FC got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Baumer. Leon Efren didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Iker Muno went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Mauro Mercurio sped through Welwyn Eagles FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Leon Efren. Rodrigo Froila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Tadeo Nerio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Adeodato's Federico Ederono got a free kick in the 29th minute. Leon Efren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauro Mercurio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had been going on for 34 minutes Desiderio Otsoko shot a great shot from long distance. It looked like a certain goal, but the audience witnessed a really smashing save by Tadeo Nerio when he caught the ball only just under the crossbar. In the 44th minute Fabricio Jatsu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Efren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Adeodato were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mauro Mercurio to make the kick off. In the 57th minute, Ciro Lastur ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tadeo Nerio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Rodrigo Froila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 63 in the game by Mauro Mercurio from a close distance when the talented Leon Efren managed to make a qualified save. Welwyn Eagles FC's players were relieved. Daniel Baumer kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iker Muno during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rodrigo Froila struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Tadeo Nerio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Welwyn Eagles FC. Ralph Gibbons kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Leon Efren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Federico Ederono, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tadeo Nerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro Lastur in the 86th minute of play. Hugo Nafarroa kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
