But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Timoteo Tibalt couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Rafael Estevez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Medardo was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Fermin Gaxan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismael Aritza in the 22nd minute of the match. Saujil AFC's Fermin Gaxan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dalmacio Bixintxo in the 25th minute of play. Dalmacio Bixintxo struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Fermin Gaxan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Argüello FC. Timoteo Tibalt ran back to his position shaking his head. Rafael Estevez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Pedro Medardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 62 minutes of play, Argüello FC's Ismael Aritza made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fermin Gaxan was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 65th minute Timoteo Tibalt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Medardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fermin Gaxan stood somewhat misplaced when Ismael Aritza came free in front of goal and shot 0-2 to the left of him in the 76 minute. Pedro Medardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timoteo Tibalt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
