Spectators: 6000 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) VA-RI-GON's Anier Emeterio started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Saverio Lazcano managed to get in a good position for a shot. VA-RI-GON's supporters rose to their feet, but Saverio Lazcano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baltasar Rosio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 7 minutes into the match, Anier Emeterio notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Fisherton's Baltasar Rosio. Baltasar Rosio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Fisherton defense, Saverio Lazcano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Baltasar Rosio. The Fisherton fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baltasar Rosio should have stopped the shot. 21 minutes into the match, VA-RI-GON's goalkeeper Gonzalo Papo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silvano Hori. In the 22nd match minute, VA-RI-GON was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernabe Artal to maneuver through the defense. Anier Emeterio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baltasar Rosio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anier Emeterio, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Salvador Bilbo to make the kick off. Saverio Lazcano succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 52nd playminute. After a defensive mix-up in Fisherton's zone, Anier Emeterio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baltasar Rosio came out of the goal and Anier Emeterio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 57 minutes into the match, Fisherton's Salvador Bilbo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gonzalo Papo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Anier Emeterio scored 0-4 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Baltasar Rosio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 67 minutes of play, VA-RI-GON's Saverio Lazcano made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Baltasar Rosio was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 71st minute, Anier Emeterio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gonzalo Papo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salvador Bilbo in the 73rd minute of play. In the 78th minute, Salvador Bilbo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fisherton fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-5. Anier Emeterio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Baltasar Rosio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 89 played minutes Fisherton got a freekick which was hit by Flavio Rencio. Saverio Lazcano struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Baltasar Rosio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VA-RI-GON. Baltasar Rosio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anier Emeterio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over VA-RI-GON could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Fisherton throughout the match.
