Spectators: 6695 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jorge Gonsalvo started the match with the kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 3 minutes, Celedonio Ellande successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A collision led to Redondo AFC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Salvador Ignatius hit a great ball. Edgard Piorno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Celedonio Ellande tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Rivadavia's Jorge Gonsalvo in the 8th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Celedonio Ellande was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Redondo AFC through an amazing save. Jorge Gonsalvo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celedonio Ellande having to interfere. Ubaldo Odilon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Frichoso in the 18th minute of the match. A collision led to Rivadavia getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Victorio Valery hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Edgard Piorno took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Celedonio Ellande to make any attempt to save it. Redondo AFC's Reynaldo Bastia got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Reynaldo Bastia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 36th minute by Jorge Gonsalvo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 45th minute, Amador Remicio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 46 played minutes Rivadavia got a freekick which was hit by Amador Remicio. Reynaldo Bastia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ubaldo Odilon having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Christian Frichoso was the one to do the kick off. In the 58th minute, Jorge Gonsalvo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Celedonio Ellande was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Rivadavia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Patricio Salvidor in the 71st minute. The corner ended in Victorio Valery almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Redondo AFC's Celedonio Ellande did a great save. Celedonio Ellande took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgard Piorno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 77 played minutes Rivadavia got a freekick which was hit by Victor Efraim. Salvador Abeita hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Redondo AFC's Cecilio Erlantz couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 86th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Rivadavia. In the 89thth minute of the game Jorge Gonsalvo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Redondo AFC's Celedonio Ellande was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Rivadavia fans cheered their team off the field, for while Redondo AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
