The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Jorge Gonsalvo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 13 minutes, Vicente Osorio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Corralito FC and the Rivadavia players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Corralito FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Vicente Osorio hit a great ball. When Edgard Piorno came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Rivadavia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgard Piorno couldn't finish the play. 17 minutes into the match, Corralito FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Gonsalvo came free, but Angelo Loramendi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 25 played minutes Corralito FC got a freekick which was hit by Vicente Osorio. Angelo Loramendi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Gonsalvo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edgard Piorno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Angelo Loramendi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Corralito FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Vicente Osorio hit a great ball. Corralito FC's Carolo Kauldi got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edgard Piorno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Angelo Loramendi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 42 minutes into the game, Edgard Piorno cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Angelo Loramendi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half Rivadavia were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Angelo Loramendi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Gonsalvo, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Corralito FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cristo Kismi in the 64th minute. The corner ended in Genaro Goi almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Rivadavia's Ubaldo Odilon did a great save. With a little luck, Corralito FC's Angelo Loramendi got control of the ball when Edgard Piorno tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ubaldo Odilon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carolo Kauldi, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Rivadavia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Corralito FC the free kick. In the 83rd match minute, Corralito FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amador Paulin to maneuver through the defense. Jorge Gonsalvo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Loramendi having to interfere. Jorge Gonsalvo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Angelo Loramendi came out and tried to block the shot, but Jorge Gonsalvo slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 99th minute. Rivadavia's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
