The audience thought a goal was coming when Emanuel Millrick got free with Serafino Mosen in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Silvestre Ostots during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Simancas FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Silvestre Ostots hit a great ball. Adrian Lain showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Mannuel, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. After 50 minutes Pujato's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Elvio Haitz who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Lázaro Natanael heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benito Veremundo was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Pujato getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Emilio Lander hit a great ball. 57 minutes into the match, Jorge Mannuel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adrian Lain. Pujato's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jorge Mannuel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Benito Veremundo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Lain having to interfere. Elvio Haitz kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Simancas FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
