Guanajuato's Mario Palben played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sixto Pacho in the 84th minute of play. Bernabe Rico got his second yellow card in the match during the 85th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Mario Palben was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Eusebia FC had won after a very even match.
