Amancio Iratxo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Emilio Millan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Higinio Rosario stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Martin Lop's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. In the 22nd minute, Severiano Gil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 26 played minutes San Pettesburgo got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Vela. After 31 played minutes San Pettesburgo got a freekick which was hit by Justo Senen. After a rather tough play, Quirós FC's Martin Lop got a free kick in the 33rd minute. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Martin Lop to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgardo Heriberto got free with Higinio Rosario in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Isidro Videl's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Higinio Rosario read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. In the 62nd minute Martin Lop shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Higinio Rosario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Higinio Rosario showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Lop in the 64th minute of the match. In the 69th match minute, Quirós FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luisito Lleir to maneuver through the defense. Emilio Millan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amancio Iratxo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The San Pettesburgo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The San Pettesburgo fans cheered their team off the field, for while Quirós FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
