In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Barcala's goalkeeper David Espiridion, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Palpalá booed when Barcala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar Matxin didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pastor Herauso got free with Anibal Fernandez in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Barcala's Oscar Matxin got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Cecilio Marques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Elias Duarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cecilio Marques struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. David Espiridion didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palpalá. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ciriaco Asteri during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Barcala's Ciriaco Asteri got a free kick in the 31st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cecilio Marques in the 32nd minute of play forced Barcala's goalkeeper David Espiridion to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Barcala's zone, Iker Qwinton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Espiridion came out of the goal and Iker Qwinton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cecilio Marques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. David Espiridion tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cecilio Marques stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Cecilio Marques managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palpalá's supporters rose to their feet, but Cecilio Marques was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Espiridion breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 58 played minutes Palpalá got a freekick which was hit by Severiano Juvenal. After a rather tough play, Palpalá's Iker Qwinton got a free kick in the 59th minute. After a rather tough play, Barcala's Ciriaco Asteri got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 75th minute, Palpalá's Iker Qwinton dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. Cecilio Marques's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David Espiridion read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Barcala's goalkeeper David Espiridion had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iker Qwinton. Cecilio Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Palpalá's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
