Raimundo Arnau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Espiridion having to interfere. Raimundo Arnau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. David Espiridion tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 20 minutes, Elias Duarte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barcala's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elias Duarte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 22 minutes in the game, Elias Duarte dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Raimundo Arnau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Espiridion having to interfere. After 27 played minutes Anta FC got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Froylan. Lucas Eufemio hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. When Salvador Salomone came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Anta FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Salvador Salomone couldn't finish the play. Sixto Ralondo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elias Duarte went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pastor Herauso in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sixto Ralondo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Raimundo Arnau might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over David Espiridion. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Raimundo Arnau ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Barcala's Oscar Matxin got a free kick in the 47th minute. After the first half Barcala were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elias Duarte stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Salvador Salomone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reynaldo Bero charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Reynaldo Bero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Raimundo Arnau came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Anta FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raimundo Arnau couldn't finish the play. In the 66th match minute, Barcala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pablo Sal to maneuver through the defense. 70 minutes into the match, Barcala's goal looked a bit too open when Salvador Salomone came free, but David Espiridion reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute, Elias Duarte got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Salvador Salomone fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Anta FC's protests and gave Salvador Salomone a yellow card for diving instead. After 80 played minutes Anta FC got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Eufemio. Pastor Herauso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pastor Herauso struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Sixto Ralondo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barcala. If Pastor Herauso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucas Eufemio hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. In the 90th minute, Pastor Herauso made a precise shot to the right of Sixto Ralondo. Anta FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Elias Duarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sixto Ralondo having to interfere. The Barcala supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Barcala would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
