Vinicio Primo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Santos Valiente in the 6th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Santos Valiente managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fredriksson's supporters rose to their feet, but Santos Valiente was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vinicio Primo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Rosario Canalla FC's Candido Eate got a free kick in the 8th minute. Vinicio Primo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Roano, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Vinicio Primo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Roano in the 18th minute of the match. Santos Valiente could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Vinicio Primo made a huge save. In the 22nd minute, Santos Valiente ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vinicio Primo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 27th minute, Saverio Umea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vinicio Primo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Roano in the 29th minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Ricardo Bastian got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 34th minute, Alejo Thomas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Martin Roano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Guillermo Leobardo made a kick off. Dalmacio Nicholas struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Felipe Lucian didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rosario Canalla FC. Guillermo Leobardo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Felipe Lucian read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Guillermo Leobardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ricardo Bastian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felipe Lucian having to interfere. The supporters of Fredriksson booed when Rosario Canalla FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fidel Malvin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vinicio Primo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santos Valiente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guillermo Leobardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Felipe Lucian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fredriksson's Felipe Lucian proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Fredriksson from getting a goal against them. With 85 minutes on the clock, Sixto Guillerme commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 92nd minute Dalmacio Nicholas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felipe Lucian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
