Astor Gutierrez's late challenge caught a Argüello AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Astor Gutierrez helped the player get up and apologised. When Octavio Reynardo fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Taco's protests and gave Octavio Reynardo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Taco getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Octavio Reynardo hit a great ball. In the 84th match minute, Argüello AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erubiel Igon to maneuver through the defense. When Adan Bortzaioriz came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Taco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adan Bortzaioriz couldn't finish the play. Argüello AFC's Clodoveo Ursino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jose Ongile in the 88th minute of play. If Adan Bortzaioriz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jose Ongile took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Clodoveo Ursino. Clodoveo Ursino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Argüello AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Taco for a fine match.
