Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Zeledon Cortez took the kick off in the first half of the match. Maximiliano Ermano hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. In the 5th match minute, Maleh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angel Eliu to maneuver through the defense. In the 12th minute, Abel Malvin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Maleh fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Jose Adrio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abel Malvin in the 16th minute. In the 18th minute, Lucio Montrel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abel Malvin got free with Jose Adrio in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 21 played minutes Itatí FC got a freekick which was hit by Bonifacio Sabin. Jose Adrio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abel Malvin went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. After having played for 30 minutes, Lucio Montrel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Itatí FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucio Montrel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maximiliano Ermano in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jose Adrio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Abel Cheche fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Itatí FC's protests and gave Abel Cheche a yellow card for diving instead. Abel Cheche hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Maximiliano Ermano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jose Adrio was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Itatí FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 39th minute, when Angel Eliu scored to the left of an out of position Jose Adrio, making the score, 4-0. If Abel Malvin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maximiliano Ermano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeledon Cortez in the 54th minute of play forced Maleh's goalkeeper Andres Haitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The long shot by Ezequiel Pelagius in the 55th minute really tested Andres Haitz's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 58thth minute of the game Abel Malvin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Itatí FC's Jose Adrio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Angel Eliu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Jose Adrio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maleh's Abel Malvin got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 66 minutes of play, Maleh's Angel Eliu made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jose Adrio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Andres Haitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fermin Diegotxe, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. When Maleh's Maximiliano Ermano in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Itatí FC's goalie prevented a goal. Abel Malvin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jose Adrio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Ermano, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Cesar Lleir recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Angel Eliu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jose Adrio was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. 95 minutes into the match, Maximiliano Ermano notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of Itatí FC's Jose Adrio. Jose Adrio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee ended the match the Maleh players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
