In the 16th minute, Horacio Indartsu fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Flavio Alonso, passed just outside the right post. When Silvio Raymundo fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Epuyén's protests and gave Silvio Raymundo a yellow card for diving instead. Flavio Alonso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ramon Patxi went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Ignacio Berbiz might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Flavio Alonso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ignacio Berbiz ran back to his position shaking his head. Ramon Patxi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Flavio Alonso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot by Aurelio Martxelin from long distance, 30 minutes into the match, got Flavio Alonso's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After 33 played minutes REAL CHILITO got a freekick which was hit by Isaac Eyague. In the 37th minute, one of REAL CHILITO:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for REAL CHILITO. Leonides Mannie kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Froilan Jatsu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eriberto Vela in the 46th minute of play. If Horacio Indartsu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 58 minutes into the match, Ramon Patxi notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Epuyén's Flavio Alonso. Flavio Alonso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the REAL CHILITO defense, Fabio Eguerdi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Froilan Jatsu. The REAL CHILITO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Froilan Jatsu should have stopped the shot. Epuyén's Flavio Alonso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramon Patxi in the 72nd minute of play. Ignacio Berbiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavio Alonso having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Epuyén's Froilan Jatsu threw himself towards the right post 81 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Norberto Criston, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 82 played minutes REAL CHILITO got a freekick which was hit by Ignacio Berbiz. The attack was good, but when Ramon Patxi in the 85th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Eriberto Vela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
