The audience was convinced that Cristobal Tulio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anselmo Joanes was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 21 minutes into the game, one of Stratocasters:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Damian Froila walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Jesus Bidun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Denis Hernando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristobal Tulio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alonzo Domenec succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 39th playminute. The supporters of Stratocasters booed when Atraucó AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristobal Tulio didn't get a good kick on the ball.

55 minutes into the game, Jonatan Ubarna was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atraucó AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stratocasters the free kick. In the 55th match minute, Atraucó AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonatan Ubarna to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristobal Tulio in the 60th minute of play forced Stratocasters's goalkeeper Anselmo Joanes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Atraucó AFC's Denis Hernando got control of the ball when Jesus Bidun tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristobal Tulio took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anselmo Joanes. Anselmo Joanes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Eliseo Menendo's late challenge caught a Stratocasters's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eliseo Menendo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 70th minute, Timoteo Charro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristobal Tulio in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anselmo Joanes saved Stratocasters from getting behind. Remigio Cordeal took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 77th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Denis Hernando. Atraucó AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 80th minute, Cristobal Tulio made a precise shot to the right of Anselmo Joanes. Stratocasters's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. 85 minutes into the match, Stratocasters's Jesus Bidun sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Denis Hernando narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lucio Raymon hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. During the 93rd minute of the match Jonatan Ubarna completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Jonatan Ubarna a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. When the match had been going on for 96 minutes, Stratocasters's Elpidio Rius got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Denis Hernando. Stratocasters's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
